SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in the San Juan Field Office intercepted and seized three shipments containing counterfeit luxury brand merchandise, including jewelry and sunglasses, with a combined Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of over .2 million, had the merchandise been genuine.
Among the fraudulent merchandise CBP officers seized are watches, jewelry, bags, clothing and sunglasses that were illegally using known brands such as Google, Rolex, Hublot, Gucci, Louis Vutton, Pandora, Tous and Nike, among many others.

No in short. counterfeit goods are often the final product of money laundering, drugs gangs, are produced in sweat shops etc. Save your money for a good bag without that kind of history behind it. Some fakes are good just make sure the badges are straight.
